America’s Hairstorian Jeff Hafler is an icon in the beauty business. A stylist for more than three decades, this transplanted Buckeye has owned and operated salons from Hollywood to Wonder Valley, and most recently creating the Beauty Bubble Salon and Museum in downtown Joshua Tree. Open to the pubic 7 days a week, the Beauty Bubble includes a gift shop, the Boutique, which is absolutely a cut above the rest.
This year marks the tenth wreath donation by Jeff and his husband, designer Mikal Winn. Each wreath is brighter and more spectaular than the last. And the wreaths come with stunning, one of a kind jewelry from Mikal Winn, plus some items to pamper from the Beauty Bubble Salon.
According to Jeff, “I love taking part in the festival of wreaths because supporting our community college is the right thing to do and I love the holidays!!
I love traditions of all kinds but I especially love the holidays and spending time with my dear friends making jelly or jam!
Another favorite tradition would be one my father started when we were kids. After all the gifts were under the tree and we were all asleep he would tape up the end of the hallway with wrapping paper. In the morning we would get to bust through paper and Christmas would begin! I have carried on that tradition with my son Cash who is now 16 and almost reaches the top of the doorway! He may be a big tall teenager now but he still loves busting through that paper on Christmas morning.

2021 Festival of Wreaths
Jeff is absolutely inspired by light and color. This year The Beauty Bubble Wreath will be a large green tinsel wreath with white and turquoise decorations and green and fluorite lights! Mikal will contribute two matching pieces of jewelry and there will be a gift certificate for the Beauty Bubble Boutique. Bring a friend for a fun afternoon on November 21, 2021 at 2 pm at the Bell Center, 6162 Rotary Way, Joshua Tree, CA. Tickets are $10 at the door.
